About us: We are committed to native breeds and a pasture-fed livestock farming system. Munching on lots of delicious natural pasture, allows our mutton sheep to develop a really full flavour. The joints are typically bigger than you would find in one of our lamb boxes. After hanging, our mutton is expertly butchered by the award-winning Jesse Smiths in Cirencester. The mutton is supplied in individually vacuum packed cuts, which are frozen and labelled and delivered in environmentally friendly wool-insulated boxes.

About us: Small quantities of Rare Breed Portland mutton available seasonally to order. The flock is grazed on the North Dorset / Somerset border. Sheep are slaughtered and butchered locally, hung for two weeks and cut to customer requirements. Available as half or whole boxed, and delivered locally. Portland mutton was regarded as a local delicacy in Georgian England and is now listed in the Slow Food Ark of Taste. Portland sheep mature slowly, producing exceptional hoggett and mutton. The meat is fine grained and with a great depth of flavour.
